I like it! Being a scientist can mean a lot of things, so it gives you scope to chase your interests and become the world’s leading expert on whatever you are most passionate about. The variety is very good too – you can be a scientist in a University or in industry, work abroad, you can create your own spin-out companies or do media work such as writing or TV. A science degree is also a good foundation for a lot of future directions.

I love being a scientist. I love learning and discovering new things and I love designing and carrying out experiments. I recommend that you do whatever you want to do and if you don’t know try loads of different things until you find something that you know is for you. Life is all about experiences, I can’t tell you what you will or won’t like, you need to find that out for yourself.

I don’t know how old you are but would recommend being a scientist to anyone of any age! It can be so different from one day to the next and there are loads of interesting things to work on. Imagine being able to change the future! It’s a great way to be creative.

Yes! I would recommend it to anyone at any age! There are so many interesting things to learn about in science and I think you can never be to young to start. Aswell as the obvious areas of science which you learn about in school (biology, chemistry, physics)…there loads of other areas of science which are interesting…like maths, engineering, marine biology, psychology etc. I don’t like every area of science but there are so many different ones that your bound to find one your interested in!

I would recommend being a scientist to someone of any age. You are never to young or old to be a scientist! Science is so much more than just biology, chemistry and physics most things around us have been researched and tested such as the new footballs used at the world cup and latest lipsticks. There are parts of science that would interest all ages its just about finding what part of it you enjoy.
