Question: Why do most girls automatically open their mouth whilst putting on eyeliner or mascara?

I don’t know! maybe its because when you lift up your head to do it your neck muscles at the front become tighter so your jaw automatically opens… (I just did this at my desk to try and work out why!)…try it and see if you can see what I mean…
Or maybe its just another thing girls do which there is no explanation for…(there are quite a few…we are complex creatures!)

To stretch the skin around the eye, it makes the application much easier! 🙂

Are you sure it’s just girls? Time for an experiment. Get all the boys in the class to put on guyliner and see if they do the same! It’s probably not genetic, more likely concentration. Worth a try though!

Im not sure if thisis true but appeariently if you stretch the eye whilst putting on eyeliner, you can stretch the elastines in your eye and that can cause premature sagging or wrinkles?
