I think it is the flavouring and the e numbers that are in them!

Because the manufacturers put alsorts of E number chemicals in them to make them that way.

Becasuse of the dye chemicals they coat them in! Look on the packet and in the ingredients there will be a load of E numbers. One of these will be for an orange dye.
