• Question: How long do you think it will take to make a nuclear fusion reacter? Do you think it is a good thing?

      I believe we will see one in our lifetime. It will be good so long as it is used to generate power and not used for military purposes.

      I think that there are places around the world at the minute which are testing nuclear fusion reactors in laboratories…so I think that working ones may not be far off (depending on the difficulties they experience along the way..you never know what could happen in science!)

      Some people have been suggesting the nuclear fusion reactors are the answer to the energy crisis…whether this is true I do not know….However…I think any form of energy which is cleaner, safer (producing lower levels of radiation) than current alternatives is surely a good thing!
