I don’t think so. I have been very bored doing some jobs in my life and i’m still here. I think this is a myth and a saying. I’ve definitely “died of embarrassment” before

People don’t die of boredom but there is some evidence to suggest that people who are bored with their life die younger than those who are happy in their life. There are also studies to show that we live longer if we spend time connecting with other people or even if we care for pets or plants. As humans, at our core we are loving, and caring and need to be loved and cared for too! (I can’t spell either, i’m still practicing being good at it!)

Not directly, but if you have an underlying medical condition you could trigger it. For example if embarrassment causes an increase in an existing heart condition. Boredom would be your brain just giving up but there are other mental health issues that would be a part of this.

Luckily not! Although embarassment could trigger shock, which can be fatal (for example if you have a weak heart).
