No! My dad is an engineer and my older sister is science teacher in a secondary school 🙂

In my immediate family, yes. My husband is an artist and my brother is an opera singer! I do have a cousin who was a neurophysiologist, but I didn’t get to know her until quite recently, and my grandfather was an engineer.

Yes, my mum is a teaching assistant, and my dad works in insurance. One of my sisters is a banker, the other a solicitor and the youngest is studying policing and terrorism (which sounds pretty scary!) at university.

No one in my family really understands what I do, my mum just thinks that I want to be an eternal student!

Yes I am. My sister did a science degree in sport, exercise and nutrition but she isn’t a scientist now. I try to explain to my family what I am doing and they don’t understand!!
