• Question: Would you say that pluto is stioll a planet?

      Ha, I learned Pluto was a planet when I was at school so was sad to see it changed. But it makes sense that it was changed to a “dwarf planet”, because we’re discovering more planets now, and we need better definitions of what a planet is. Some asteroids in the Solar System are bigger than Pluto, and astronomers decided in the end to take out Pluto rather than make all the asteroids planets too, because it was simpler. But that doesn’t mean that it’s not interesting – we’re sending a probe to Pluto called New Horizons, which will arrive in summer 2015!
