      Cartoon physics is the laws of physics which hold in cartoons. Like how when the road runner runs off a cliff, he hovers there for a while before falling.

      Or how the ACME anvil manages to float until exactly the point when the baddie is under it

      So unfortunately it doesn’t really affect us, because we have to live with plain old vanilla physics in our universe

      When you fall off a tall building, you don’t leave a you-shaped hole in the ground. It’s a little more messy than that. So don’t try it!

      I’d like to make one extra point, which is a world governed by cartoon physics would be non-stop comedy. Watch Who Framed Roger Rabbit for a perfect example.
