Personally no, because that would mean everything has already been decided and that goes against the theory of quantum mechanics that says we cannot know all the information about say a particle at one time, and therefore we can’t use the laws of physics to predict where it will be in the future. For example in quantum mechanics you can’t know the speed and position of a particle with 100% accuracy, if you know its speed better you don’t know where it is as well and vice versa.

No, I don’t believe in fate. The universe is too chaotic, and like Kate says there are things that are genuinely random, like quantum mechanics. We can’t know what will happen to us. This is scary but also exciting – we can do so many different things in our life, and there are always different things to do and choices to make!
