Volcanoes are probably why we are writing to each other right now…! Volcanoes are very important to make the right conditions for life on earth, which means without them – we wouldn’t be here! They make the right mix of chemicals and heat that the earliest life forms can grow in about 4 billion years ago, and evolution took it from there! Also, they spewed gasses into the atmosphere to stop the deadly strong sunlight from getting to the surface.
So, the fact is: without volcanoes – we wouldn’t be here! I hope this blows your mind like a big volcanic eruption, it certainly blew my mind when I first was told this! 🙂
