If you are interested in medicine I would go check out all the universities websites that run the courses. Then make an appointment to go see them- or go to an open day. There are some universities that also run summer programmes to give you a feel for the course…Studying t university is a commitment you should look into carefully. Make sure the location and university, plus the course structure is right for you.
Hi @Anthonette. You should direct to the different university websites and perhaps attend the open days of any universities you are of interest to you where you can ask any questions
Apply to lots of places(can’t remember what the maximum UCAS lets you apply to)
Beforehand do lots of research:
living costs
student satisfaction
student societies(eg for me, running club)
accommodation
location
course structure/options(ie can you exit after 3 years and become a researchers instead of doctor)
teaching methods
student retention(ie how many drop out after X years)
Attend open days
speak to the students there
Ask questions
Wherever you go, you need to be happy 🙂
Me been biased I would say apply to Teddy Hall at Oxford. Lovely, friendly college 🙂
