Question: if i would like to go into engineering should i do a level 3 BTEC extended diploma in engineering or should i do A levels such as maths, physics and chemistry
It all depends on the type of assessment you may enjoy the most and do better at. There is a big difference in the style and structure of the assessments in both options and you become aware of these. You need to think to yourself are you likely to change your mind about your career plan? Would doing the engineering diploma allow you to study anything else at university?
Hi @748sped35. I think you should try and not narrow down your career options too soon. Doing A levels in maths, physics and chemistry would allow you to change to a different science related degree in the future. Most of people change their minds quite a lot before choosing a degree.
