Not sure I could survive having to pay rent and eat on £10 a day so the £100 looks a lot more appealing but if I were to be working in industry, rather than studying for a PhD, I could probably be earning more money so I guess I’d rather be doing what I’m doing, even if it was for less money (assuming I could survive on that amount!)

Well, I’m meant to be finishing my PhD in March so I don’t think I could start all over again and still finish in time! I’d have to take the £10 and keep all of my work. I’d have to start walking to work instead of getting the bus though and would probably have to live off mash potato rather than take away! At least until I could get another job!!!

Well, the options are drastic, but seeing that I love my work and that I would not be able to stay sane if I stay at home and do nothing I would have to earn £10 a day and get creative with regards to my groceries + food.

It depends what earning £100 a day would imply – I dislike routine work and I am not greedy!

Getting rid of all my *current* work… that implies i might be able to find something else!

There are aspects I could get rid of for £100 a day, sure 🙂 But who would do the paperwork that would allow me to do the rest?

I couldnt’ live on £10 a day though. If money were no object (i.e. say I had a lottery win behind me), i’d still be doing my job – though I might be paying someone to do my paperwork for me in that case!
