Question: why do you want to win

I really love spectroscopy and it’s my favourite part of science but most people don’t realise how important it is in our daily lives or won’t get the chance to try spectroscopy experiments until they do a degree in the subject. Getting students to have the chance to learn and get hands on experience with some really cool pieces of kit (most of spectroscopy is done on awesome machines) I think would be great for encouraging people to see how physics and chemistry are linked and maybe even encourage a few people to consider going into science.
