• Question: why did you want to be an elephant keeper

      I’ve always loved animals and elephants are my favourites. We used to go on a lot of school trips to Chester Zoo when I was a kid and the elephant enclosure was always my favourite! I think I was always a little jealous of their incredible memory (I can be pretty forgetful!) and I love that they are led by a female rather than males. Also, have you ever seen a baby elephant work out how to use their trunks?! Adorable!
