I am inclined to say Maths, but I believe that should also be included under the realm of sciences. At school I loved history, learning about the history of Europe and my country, while I love watching documentaries about ancient people and wars.

Apart from that I am also keen on philosophy. As a scientist I believe I ahve to follow a code of ethics, and I can only do that if I think about my work from a philosophical perspectives.

I also love maths if you’re not going to count this as science but I think English would probably be my favourite subject. I love reading novels (not just scientific papers and textbooks!) and writing too.

I was always useless at English, art and PE but I loved food technology! I love cooking and baking and was the president of the cake society during my undergraduate degree.

Putting “maths” in the same category of science, i couldn’t choose this one (but maths is amazing!):

I like music. Music is fun, and I really enjoy playing music – particularly with friends – it’s better when there’s more than one!
