      I have very fair skin, so I get burnt here on Earth!

      I suspect you mean ‘catch fire’ – well, that would need oxygen… and there’s not a lot of that in space.

      In fact, our atmosphere gives us a huge amount of protection; on the International Space Station they need to have protection from the sun’s light as without the proper insulation the space station would be heated to destruction in the sun’s light!
