      We’re already inside the atmosphere! The Kármán line, at 62 miles up, is often used as the border between the atmosphere and outer space. This is also the radius at which the Kerbal space program game decides to add in resistance from the atmosphere, haha!

      The atmosphere slowly gets thinner, even where the international space station is there are still a few particles of atmosphere.
