• Question: Do you think we'll ever find a monopole, to prove grand unified theory?

      Hi Will 🙂 I’m not sure. We’re pushing the boundaries of particle Physics all of the time, and I think people will carry on searching until we find one or at least manage to rule the possibility of one out with another theory. The MoEDAL experiment at the LHC is apparently searching for monopoles – maybe that’s one of the more promising leads!
