At the middle of the milky way! (our galaxy) but it’s very far away so we aren’t affected by it on Earth.

It is the one in the centre of our galaxy but we are out at the edge, so not too close to us. 🙂

Hi Maddy, remarkably we have our own very hole in our galaxy! Pretty cool : -) Luckily, we won’t get sucked into it because we are a long way away! : -)

The nearest confirmed black hole is around 1,000 light years away, but there might be others even closer.

The Betelgeuse star is “about” to go supernovae and after that the core will likely collapse into a black hole and likely become the closest black hole to Earth, at just 640 light years away!
