• Question: what would happen if there was no Earth ?

      Well, we probably wouldn’t be here to answer your questions!

      But, our solar system and our universe would carry on almost exactly the same. We’re very small when compared to the universe!

      Hello Raif, that’s a deep question : -) If it didn’t exist at all, then the planets in the rest of the Solar System would be positioned very differently. There would no longer be a gravitational pull from the Earth. Our Moon might end up circling another planet! Some large bodies might collide into each other as the whole system gets completely changed! Let’s hope it doesn’t happen : -)

      If there was no Earth then the solar system would look really different as the other planets would have formed in different places. Many of the other solar systems we have found are very different to ours, so we can see examples of how varied the layout can be.

      It would be a sadder Universe without all the life that Earth has allowed to appear.
