I am incredibly lucky to be able to use so many super large telescopes.

One of my favourites is the Hubble Space Telescope that I get to use to study very distant galaxies and how they looked like.

I also use the 8-m Very Large Telescope in Chile, and I used to go to Hawaii every 6 months to observe for almost 50 nights on the United Kingdom Infrared Telescope – that was just awesome!

I also use telescopes in the Canary Islands where I have spend tens of nights observing with my own filters (at the Isaac Newton telescope), and also at other 4-m and 8-m telescopes.

Two of my favourite telescopes that I use are Keck (10 metres in diameter!) and Subaru!

I also use telescopes that can see in the X-rays, radio, and all sorts of energies, both in space and on the ground. Combining data from different telescopes gives us a much richer, much more beautiful picture of galaxies and what goes on inside them and allows to figure things out properly.
