I promise I won’t say nothing. 🙂 But it’s a tough one because as far as we know space just is. It exists everywhere and it doesn’t end. The bits of space we know about are the bits we can see. We can see them because light from there has travelled through space and got to Earth, so we can see it. The farther away places are from Earth, the longer it takes the light to reach us. So the most far away places we can see are those where the light has been travelling since the universe began. Places even farther away we can’t see because the light hasn’t had time to reach us. So for Earth, the end of space is where the light has had time to come from and there we see galaxies and stars like they were at the beginning of the universe. But we think space still goes on beyond that – we just can’t see it!
