Question: What inspired or who inspired you to do this job?

My original inspiration came from walking in the mountains in the Lake District and in France. I was strangely attracted to rocks and cliffs!! When I was at school, geology was not a subject to choose to study so I didn’t know that I could be a geologist…someone who studies rocks! I just thought I had an odd interest 🙂 I find rocks wonderful – it’s so amazing that they were formed by nature. From Earth rocks to Moon rocks wasn’t a huge leap…they are very similar.
