      Hello beep, the Milky Way is ancient! It’s about 13.5 billion years old! The Earth is 4.6 billion so you can see that the Milky Way (our own galaxy) began long before Earth formed. These numbers are so difficult to imagine but that’s what makes space so great to study : -)
