I have some bits of Mars, which I think is totally cool! They are from a meteor made from bits of the planet that got broken off and which ended up being shot into space, maybe when a big meteor hit the planet. The meteor landed on Earth and we can tell from what the meteor is made of where it came from. So I love to look at my tiny pieces of Mars and think about where they came from.

Hi Milov, I have 13 different Moon rocks in my laboratory that I study. They were all brought back from the Moon during the 1960s and 1970s by NASA astronauts! They are all volcanic rocks that were erupted from volcanoes on the Moon billions of years ago. I study these rocks to measure how many different elements (tiny atoms) they contain. : -)
