Lots! 🙂 We live with about 50 other galaxies in what we call the Local Group – they are the ones closest to us that seem to form a cluster. Then this group, plus others, make up the Local Supercluster, which is made up of about 100,000 galaxies. And in the universe that we can observe there are about 1-2 trillion galaxies, so that’s a 1 or a 2 with 12 zeros after it!
We estimate that there are roughly 2 trillion galaxies out there in the visible Universe, waiting for us to find them and study them so we can learn even more about our awesome Universe!
Hi Nosike, there is a very big telescope that we use called Hubble which has shown us that there are about 200,000 billion galaxies (that’s 200,000,000,000,000!) but now it is estimated that there are 10 times more than that! I’ll let you add the zeros to the end of that long number : -)
