      My best friend is my boyfriend Tim, who I’ve been with for a year after we met at a space conference. He’s a scientist too, he studies meteorites to look at what our solar system was up to right after it formed. He’s just like me in that he loves cats, cares deeply for the environment, and gets into an excited tizzy when we talk about space for too long.

      My best friend is Billie, and we met in high school. We have very different jobs now but whenever we are back in our home town we have a cuppa and catch up and movie nights. It’s been ten years since we became best friends so I’m sure we’ll be there for each other for ever now!

      My wife is my best friend. She works in an engineering department and is more interested in engineering. We always some good conversations that can be quite divided depending on if you are looking at them from a engineering or scientific point of view.
