Question: phil you gave me some great answers from my previous questions but there is one I haven't asked which is when you were a child would you have ever thought that you would be here today doing the world a massive favour and I appreciate the time and effort you have put in for me

  When I was growing up I had no idea I could even do the job I did now. Being much younger at school I only really knew about jobs that people I had met had. At that point I had not met any scientists or even real engineers. If I knew what I would be doing in my future as a child I think I would have been quite excited.
  
  I am not sure I have done the world a massive favor (yet anyway). I may have started to delve into new things for science but the hope is to contribute something significant to the world at some point.
