• Question: If u won a million pounds would u leave ur job to pursue other interests not to do with science?

      I would probably carry on doing what I’m doing (if they’d let me), but I would use the money to lots of awesome equipment and make my life easier! And maybe some toys as well.

      I would do lots of different things. I like doing lots of things at once at the moment, but I have to mostly do science because that’s what I’m being paid to do!

      If I didn’t *have* to work, I would still do some science, but I’d do arty things and things like this to communicate science to other people too!

      No, I think I’d keep working in science. I would worry less about where the next contract was coming from though

      Sadly a million now isn’t enough to live on for life….. So I’d probably carry on, but I’d buy a nicer house, go on expensive holidays more and most importantly hire a maid. 😉

      No, at least not until I’d finished what I am doing. Science is a very competitive career so I might invest the money carefully so we had savings in case I lost my job. (And I might go on a nice holiday too!)
