Our Moon is quite big in relation to the size of the Earth. The radius of Earth is 6371 km and the radius of the Moon is 1737 km therefore the Moon is about 0.273 Earths.

It’s about 100 times less massive, and it’s about a quarter of our width.

The moon is a about a quarter the size of Earth if you measured them across and weights a lot less, about 1/81 the mass of the Earth! I wonder what prompted you to ask this question? Is there anything else about the moon you’d like to know? Have you ever looked at it through a telescope, it’s pretty spectacular!

The Moon has about a quarter of the Earth’s diameter, 1/80 of the Earth’s mass and 1/50 of the Earth’s volume.
