      We think that there are about 2 trillion (2,000,000,000,000) galaxies in the Universe. We are only guessing, but it’s a pretty good guess. To get this answer, we looked at a really small patch of sky with a really powerful telescope and counted all of the galaxies we could see. We then used this to guess how many there would be in the entire sky.
