• Question: How are you going to make the ''space blanket'' ?

      We make space blankets from lots of thin layers of plastic. These have a very thin (much less than a human hair) coating of aluminium on them to make them shiny. We stack these on top of each other with netting in between. That stack is then cut to the right shape, and the blanket is then attached to the spacecraft!
