I like finding out new information (it’s why I keep checking Pottermore for new information!) Being a scientist meant I could find out new information that, potentially, nobody else knew! And I would have the opportunity to tell others about what I found. This seemed exciting to me.

Science was the hobby that I was quite good at, and it paid the best. My other hobby is cycling and I don’t think I’m good enough to be a professional cyclist!

I really enjoy working with people and finding out and learning new things. So it seemed to be a good fit for me!
My other hobbies are watching Netflix, reading books, and playing dungeons & dragons which aren’t really jobs unfortunately!

I wouldn’t say that science is my hobby – it is more who I see myself as and my job. When choosing your career, a lot of the time you just follow doing what you enjoy and I don’t remember having to make a big choice. I chose to study Psychology and I was happy with it.
