This is a really complex question and there isn’t one answer to this. There are also lots of different types of cancer. I think one of the main things to do is live a healthy lifestyle – eat properly, exercise, be social. These things may help!

Research! the more we can find out about how cancer works, the better chance we have at stopping it, or curing it.

My partner who works in that area says: immunotherapy is the answer! (I don’t know what that is though!).

Like Liam said, there are lots of different kinds of cancer so there probably won’t be one treatment that cures all cancer, but different ones for different kinds of cancer. For some cancers there are really good treatments that work really well if the cancer is found early, but for others we don’t have many treatments. All the things Liam said about healthy lifestyle are normally good for most kinds fo diseases.
It could be worth asking your question in the Microbe Zone as those scientists probably know more about biology and cells than us here in psychology!
