I’d love to be able to learn more about neuro psychology and how the brain works! But it’s a bit too complicated for me…

My background isn’t in Psychology so the field is pretty new for me already — I have studied Linguistics so I think Forensic Psychology would be a good fit? It’d also be quite exciting to study criminal behaviour.

The cool thing is that once you have the basic knowledge and skills about the process of conducting science, you can apply it to some other fields in social science. For example, even though I trained as a social and political psychologist, I did some cool studies on how people think about robots and AI and whether they think that we should give them human-like rights if they were to become conscious one day. So, to answer your question, human-robot interactions is an interesting area of study emerging in psychology right now!

That’s a tough question, there are so many interesting areas of psychology! Maybe neuropsychology, as I first got interested in psychology because I was fascinated by how the brain works. Or maybe something to do with studying games – I play dungeons & dragons and I’d be really interested in studying how people create their characters and how the characters they play relate to something about themselves.
