I’m a Research Associate, and Post-Doctoral researcher (two jobs!) so I only do research and don’t teach students. Like Liam, I earn about £35,000, but sometimes I’ll work on other projects and I’ll get paid for that work too (approximately £20-£25 per hour).
I’m doing a PhD, which is more like studying than a job, but I have a scholarship so I do get paid every month. I get £1200 a month to do my PhD, and then I’m paid about £17 an hour when I teach students.
