      Hi jellybean11,

I was one of those kids that picked up things fairly easily at school, and so probably didn’t study as hard as I should have – this was something I had to learn really fast when I went to Uni. But when I did study hard, it was usually because I wanted to – even when it was hard work, I enjoyed finding out about stuff.

Jellybean. A bit of both. Noone goes through school loving every minute. I’d recommend concentrating and working hard but realistically some days you just won’t be on top of your game. There’s nothing worse than knowing you could have done a better job of something.

      Hey jellybean11,

      Yes and no.
I paid attention and concentrated when I was at school, so I learned quite a lot during the day I think. And I (almost) always did my homework.
So I remembered things quite well – it seemed to make sense. So, I didn’t have to do too much extra work to get good grades.

Maybe because my mum made sure I always had breakfast, I found it easier to concentrate during the day! There seems to be quite a lot of evidence that eating something (not a chocolate bar or some rubbish though!) can help concentration a lot.

I did want to learn. I actually miss lectures a bit, now I’ve finished university; when you’re interested in things, it’s cool to understand more about them!

I worked hard at school because I wanted to go to University. I had a lot of fun at University as I was studying a subject I loved and there was a vey good social life. It ultimately depends on what you want to so in the future. If you want to go to University I would recommend it!
