Question: Maria what is your favourite thing about the earths magnetic field?

Ooooh, my favourite thing is how strong it is – This means it goes far into space, higher than our atmosphere and it protects us.
The Sun has something called the solar wind, which blows energetic particles towards us through space and if we didn’t such a strong magnetic field, it would blow our atmosphere away and we wouldn’t be able to breathe!
