• Question: how will neutrinos have an impact on the universe when we discover something mindblowing about them?

      That’s a really interesting question.
      Neutrinos are very fundamental particles that are everywhere –> discovering something unexpected about them could change our prospective on the universe completely!
      For example, neutrinos are loads and again they’re everywhere, but we don’t know their mass (i.e. how much they weight). Let’s suppose that a new experiment finds out that the mass of neutrinos is larger than we expected (they’re fatter than we thought), then the mass of the universe will be larger than expected (there’s more stuff in the universe that we thought of), that would mean that in the future the universe would be more likely to stop expanding and start shrinking, until everything goes back to a small point in space (big crunch!) and then a new big bang will happen (possibly creating a universe with lighter neutrinos ;).
