      Nitrogen is a gas. Actually, most of the air is made of nitrogen. If you get a liquid hot, it boils and turns into a gas. You can reverse that though – if you get a gas cold enough, it will turn back into a liquid! So liquid nitrogen is the liquid form of the gas that makes up 70% of the air we breathe 🙂
