It’s a very strange branch or physics that deals with this that happen at a very small scale. It covers things like how light can behave as both a wave and a particle.

This basically the study of really, really small stuff. It’s strange, but when you are dealing with things on a scale smaller than the size of an atom, the normal laws of physics that we are all used to dealing with break down, and a whole different set of rules apply. I’m not entirely sure why, but its really interesting.
