2 Question: How do planes stay up in the sky? Keywords: plane, sky Asked by stellamaris123 to Ed, Hayley, Jason, Nathan, Sophie on 13 Mar 2013.
Hayley Evers-King answered on 13 Mar 2013:
Planes stay up in the sky because of the shape of their wings. When air passes over the wings, it creates lift. You still need engines to take off an land, but you actually don’t need a lot of power once you’re cruising!
