I used to be a christian (got confirmed when I was 11), but then I read the bible and decided I didn’t believe a lot of stuff that was written there. Then when I went to India I became a Hindu, but then I realised I wasn’t allowed to do a lot of stuff I wanted to because I was a woman, and they were telling me stuff like the sun is closer to the earth than the moon and I was like, I’m don’t think it is.. So for a while I believed in God but not any particular religion. Now I think that you can’t prove or disprove that there is a God and God is whatever you make him/her/it in your own mind. If you want God to be there for you as an old man with a white beard, he probably is, if you don’t want God to be there, he’s probably not. God is a different thing for every person.

I don’t believe in God, I’m an Atheist. I do follow and believe in many humanist ethics and philosophies though – things like basic human rights (access to education, water, freedom of religion etc), equality and altruism.
