Roentgenium Zone
The element roentgenium is named after German physicist Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen, who won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1901 for the production and detection of X-rays. Whether or not you knew his name, there’s probably an x-ray image of his wife’s hand in your school physics textbook! Roentgenium has several known isotopes, none of which are stable.
