There are plenty of places in the ocean where we’re already been to the floor (or sent little submarines with cameras), but if you’re talking about the absolute deepest part of the ocean, that’s Mariana’s Trench near Japan and it’s at least 6 miles deep. I’m not sure if we’ll be able to invent anything to cope with the extreme pressure down there, but one day we might. It would be interesting to see what is down there, though I suspect the answer will be ‘not much!’

      Hello,

Yes we can! We sent people to the deepest part of the ocean for the first time in 1960 and they got 10900 meters deep! A few years ago in 2012 James Cameron, who directed the film Avatar went down to the same place by himself and had a look around. He said he didn’t see much life except for a few small shrimp.
