      Hey,

We usually know our own reasons for liking something : pizza tastes great, games are fun, science is interesting. We sometimes wonder why other people might not enjoy them too though.
Occasionally the answer is easy to guess: a tall person might like basketball because they are tall and naturally good at it, but a small person might not. Some people like all animals a lot, and so wouldn’t want to eat a beefburger.
The differences in our opinions make everybody unique – and that’s something we should celebrate!

There are lots of reasons why we all like different things. Some of them will be related to your environment and some may be related to things that match with your character and your own body.

If you’re naturally a shy person, you may prefer and get more enjoyment out of reading than say doing sport but someone who’s strong or fast may find that they do well at sport and then start to like it more.

Also the culture your brought up in will influence things you like, like the food you eat and the music you like.

It’s great that we all like different things otherwise the world would be a pretty dull place I think!
