• Question: What is the best renewable energy source around today?

      Hey,

      I think the best source is sunlight since there’s so much of it. sadly we aren’t very good at getting the energy out of the sunlight (but we are improving all the time). This means that ion some places wind power and tidal power is a lot more useful.

      It’s tricky to say because it depends where you are… If you’re in the Sahara Desert then solar energy would be great but if you live near the North Pole then maybe wind power would be better.

      It does depend a bit on where you live but there is so much potential in solar energy I think in the future that’s probably going to be the best option.

      Defo depends on where you live and what the natural environment provides most of. I think at the moment we probably get most renewable energy from harnessing the energy from water = hydropower.
