Question: what is chemisrty all about?

There’s tons of stuff to chemistry! Chemists will study how the composition, structure and properties of matter/chemicals change in different ways. Lots of chemistry comes down to how the electrons behave in different molecules, so chemistry might be though of as studying electrons, but there’s a lot more to it…

In chemistry you can:
Make new drugs to cure diseases
Invent new materials maybe to stop climate change, or to make better shampoos
Test new properties of substances
Learn about the chemical reactions that take part inside living things
Look for chemical substances in outer space
Develop new chemical reactions
Try to understand why some things happen in theory or even come up with theories about atoms and chemicals that don’t even exist

And that’s still not close to being everything!
