      Hey Dee,

      C3H8 is called a molecular formula and it stands for a molecule with 3 carbon atoms (C) and 8 hydrogen atoms (H). There is only one molecule what can have the formula C3H8 is called propane – it’s the gas you burn when you have a barbecue!
